Leading the Charge

Marie-Laure has 20 years of experience in executive positions within international corporations. She most recently served as CFO position in a French cleantech company, where she oversaw finance and equity transactions. She previously held leadership positions in several industrial companies, including Sandvik and Toray.

Marie-Laure earns a Master’s degree in Finance and Commerce from Skema Business School.

Leveraging 20 years’ experience in executive positions within European and US corporations, Dr Ian Cayrefourcq leads the technology developments and industrial programs.

Before joining ITEN, Ian was Scientific Director at Arkema, in charge of the R&D portfolio in the field of Renewable Energies and Electronics. Formerly he held leading positions within the microelectronics market in Dassault Electronique, Corning and Soitec.

Ian is the author and co-author of more than 80 publications and 35 patents.

Ian holds an Engineering degree in material science, a Master’s degree in solid-state physics and a PhD thesis in microelectronics.

Axel Fischer joined ITEN in March 2024 leading global sales, marketing, technical support and marcom. He is a German national with more than 30 years of international experience in business and operations, in high-tech, industrial and a broad range of applications.

Prior ITEN, Axel held several senior management positions at Samsung Semiconductor Europe, most recently as Vice President and head of Foundry.

Earlier he led the SLSI Business Unit in EMEA.  Repeatedly he introduced  several new product lines and technologies from scratch, leading to high volume production and billions of revenues. Axel worked formerly at Texas Instruments France and Cypress Semiconductor managing regional marketing, sales and business development.

He holds a Masters degree in Electronics Engineering from the university of Chemnitz in Germany.
